Connor and I went bowling for the first time. We spent the day at school and then after school we went to Chick-fil-A to wait for the leagues to end. We were finally able to get our bowling shoes on. We went on our new adventure with Connor's teacher Mrs. Valerie and her son Joshua. We had lots of fun.
Connor actually bowled a strike. His score in the end was a 78, he was so proud of himself. I won the game with a 108. Oh yea, did I mention that yes we did have the bumpers. He wanted to keep playing but another league was on their way so we had to put an end to all the fun. He wanted me to take a picture of him in his bowling shoes. He said that he would like a pair to take home. I told him maybe we could find some like those somewhere else but I was not buying those.
The whole time that we played Connor was so incouraging. He would yell for who ever's turn it was and he would tell them that they did a good job. He was so excited about going bowling that he talks about taking everyone and when we could go again with Valerie and Joshua.

That looks like fun! We really need to go bowling. I like that GREEN ball you guys picked out! FUNN!!!
Even bumper bowling is wicked fun. They just tore down the alley right in our neighborhood, so we'd have to go farther away to get our fix.
Thankfully we have Wii Bowling to satisfy ourselves most of the time. Glad the kids had a good time!
Hi literaldan.. that is unfortunate about the alley next to you but I have played on a Wii before and that can be just as exciting... Plus you can also switch games once the ball starts to act up and doesn't want to hit those strikes. Thanks for visiting!!!
